Stone Masonry
At GB Stonework we have over 40 years of combined stone masonry experience. We are highly skilled in banker masonry, free carving, indents, pointing, staircases and cleaning, amongst many other competencies. We have worked on a variety of building types and we commonly work on churches, historical and residential buildings, castles and listed buildings.
Conservation
We have had the privilege of working on some of the most prestigious and historically important buildings in the country providing services including indents, mortar repairs, lime washing record, take down & rebuild, re-pointing and cleaning. We have a wealth of experience working on memorials, statues, churches, cathedrals and listed buildings.
Landscapes

GB Stonework is based in Buckinghamshire but we are proud to be able to provide our services to customers throughout the UK, with projects spanning from Northamptonshire as far as the South Coast.

More About Us
Rob Bessell
Started his career on site in 2001 working for PAYE as an apprentice stone mason.
Rob worked his way up to site manager after 10 years with the company, on some of the most prestigious buildings in the UK.
Then with 20 years of experience in the industry, GB Stonework was formed to provide some of the best stone masonry work available.
Chris Gough
Started in the Banker Shop in 1991 working stone for Gilbert and Turnbulls.
Then in 1995, still working for Gilbert and Turnbulls, moving away from the workshop Chris graduated to site work.
With nearly 30 years in the industry he now has a wealth of experience in all aspects of stone masonry.
